You will immediately be shown if any items are not available. You can then adjust your order if necessary, and (if you want to) generate a quote.
Who? This form may be used by all members of the community who are hosting a public neighborhood event. This form may also be used to reserve items for use at both public and private events, by active members of the neighborhood potluck group and also by members of partnering groups who have been informed about this form. Everyone else is welcome to use the paid rental form.
Also: Although there are no restrictions on the type of events active group members may borrow items for (for free), there are some restricted dates. Items may not be borrowed for free for events that take place at the same time as the group's open general public events, which mainly means the once-a-month anchor events. To reserve items for private events which take place at the same time as the group's big events, please use the paid rental form.
Tablecloths and other linens: When these items are borrowed, there are actual expenses involved, including laundry detergent, Oxy stain remover, electricity, etc. The labor and expenses involved mean that these items must be treated differently than other items such as tables and chairs. Tablecloths and other linens (table runners, napkins, etc.) may indeed be borrowed for free for most neighborhood events. But for private events, tablecloths and other linens are not available to borrow for free, but may be rented at a very low cost using the rental form.
